For operators
Recover failed payments
Remembill sits on top of your existing billing and payment stack and turns failed payments into paid ones. Built for any business billing consumers on a recurring basis. Telecom, energy, subscriptions, insurance, property, and more.
How it works
One pre-filled bill checkout. Paid in seconds.
1. We detect the failed payment
You send us the failed transactions by file drop or API. We reconcile them against the original bill.
2. The customer gets a friendly nudge
An SMS or email links them to a pre-filled payment page. No login, no app, no typing account numbers.
3. They pay in seconds
Bank, card or mobile app. Funds settle to you. You keep the customer relationship.
4. Escalate only when needed
Unresolved cases can hand off to your existing debt collection partner. Remembill is not a debt collector.
The problem
Failed payments are a silent revenue leak
Most failed payments are not refusals to pay. They fail because something broke, expired cards, insufficient funds, bounced transfers, and most of it is recoverable if you reach the customer fast enough. Recurring-revenue businesses lose up to 9 percent of revenue to payment failures each year (PYMNTS/FlexPay, Baremetrics). About 30 percent of subscription churn is involuntary and driven by these failures (GoCardless). Soft declines account for 80 to 90 percent of failed payments (Solidgate, Paddle), and 90 percent of recoveries land in the first 10 days (Recurly).
A manually recovered payment costs from €10 (LexisNexis Risk Solutions). Replacing a lost customer is 5 to 25 times more expensive than keeping one (Harvard Business Review).
Roughly 18 billion consumer bills move through European operators every year (Billentis, EU Commission and ECB based estimates).
What you get
A layer on top of your stack
Sits on top of your billing
No rip and replace. Keep your PSP, ERP and CRM. Remembill runs in parallel and closes the recovery loop.
Automated messaging
Configurable SMS and email cadences with your brand voice and language. Industry benchmarks show up to 73 percent recovery on failed payments through automation (GoCardless, 2023).
Pre-filled, no-login payment page
The customer lands on a page that already knows the amount, reference and recipient. Paying is one tap.
Multiple payment methods
Bank transfer, card and mobile wallet. The customer picks the method that works best for them.
Reconciliation you can trust
Each recovery is matched back to the original bill and delivered to you as a settled, referenced transaction.
Optional collection hand-off
For the small share that still does not pay, we hand the case cleanly to your existing collection provider.
The 73 percent figure is a GoCardless industry benchmark for automated recovery. Remembill improves on this benchmark.

What this can look like at €24M in ARR
€24M in annual recurring revenue with roughly 432,000 consumer bills a year means up to €2.16M exposed to failed payments. Around 70 percent is recoverable through automated retry and reach-out, so the estimated recovered value is €1.51M. At €0.30 per sent recovery bill the price in this calculator is €11,664. Success fee (€1.70) and platform fee are excluded.
Recovery benchmark: 73 percent automated recovery (GoCardless industry figure). 90 percent of recoveries happen within the first 10 days (Recurly).

FAQ
Common questions from finance and operations
How is this different from a debt collection agency?
Remembill runs before collection. We recover the payment while the customer is still your customer, using a friendly pre-filled link. Only unresolved cases are handed off to a collection partner. We are not a debt collector.
Does Remembill replace our PSP or billing system?
No. Remembill sits on top of what you already run. Your PSP, ERP and CRM stay in place. We take the failed payments they produce and close the loop.
How fast can we go live?
A file drop pilot can go live in under a week. An API integration typically takes 2 to 3 weeks depending on your side. Onboarding is included at no cost during the pilot.
How exactly does the pricing work?
€0.30 per issued recovery bill, plus a €1.70 success fee charged only on successful recovery, transaction fee included. The fees are fixed and never change with volume. A separate monthly platform fee applies outside the pilot, quoted per operator.
What is Remembill's regulatory status?
Remembill is operated by CoAccept AB (org.nr. 559548-7405) in Stockholm. Bank payments use strong customer authentication issued by the customer's bank and card payments run on regulated processors. Personal data is stored in the EU/EEA under GDPR.
Can we keep our own brand on the messages and payment page?
Yes. Sender name, message copy and the payment page can carry your brand and language. The customer relationship stays with you.
